If CALLING ALL CARS were knocking on the door with their debut album Hold, Hold, Fire, in 2011 they well and truly kicked it in. Recorded over countless sleepless nights in producer Tom Larkin’s Melbourne studios, fiery follow-up Dancing with a Dead Man album is a huge step up for the band. But all the hard work paid off as Dancing with a Dead Man scored a Triple J Feature Album and cracked the ARIA Top 20. On the road the band have continued to dominate with a spate of sold out album launch shows, earning them opening slots on Foo Fighters’ upcoming Australian visit. No strangers to the big stage – having supported AC/DC and Queens of the Stone Age in the past and played the Melbourne BDO in 2010 – CALLING ALL CARS continue to prove their status as a hard-working, hard-rocking, “fearless” (Blunt Magazine) live act.
